This course is designed to provide a structured approach to surveying sites with respect to gas hazards.
It is recommended to first complete IGD courses for Flammable Gas Detection and Toxic Gas Detection to get the best from the course content.
The course discusses the legislative framework in the UK and the importance of ACOP's and Guidance notes.
Characteristics of gas hazards and points of concern are discussed as well as practical examples.
This course is freely available and also offers CPD points (3 points).
Note that completion of this course is a requirement for those wishing to attend training at IGD's head office Academy.
